CheckEffect – Everything at a glance

A new evaluation chart makes CheckEffect even more efficient: At a glance, the CheckEffect users see the most important key values of their web page.

How well-known is my website? What proportion of visitors and enquiries come through links to my website? How many users are referred to my website through search engines?

Questions, to which, until now, only the CheckEffect program knew the answer. Because the analysis and anonymous comparison program for tourism websites does more than conventional statistical programs: It informs the user about traffic on the website and evaluates all data according to its efficiency. Thus, the CheckEffect user knows not only how many visitors he/she receives, for example, through links, but also how many enquiries this marketing activity results in.

What can one read from these numbers?

The referring links show how efficiently (chargeable) links work for the hotel or the tourism association. The proportion of visitors and enquiries from referring links should be in proportion with the costs for the links. If the operation invests 60% of its online budget in links, but only receives few visitors and enquiries through this marketing instrument, an efficiency analysis is required with CheckEffect. If the hotel operator first of all knows the efficiency of each link, he can make a substantiated decision about every disbursement.

The references from search engines make it clear how good the website itself is. Because: The comparison shows that only professional websites that are fully “understood” by search engines generate a corresponding volume of visitors and enquiries.

The direct entries illustrate how well-known the website is and how efficiently offline marketing is being carried out. Increases are mostly achieved with radio, television and print advertising. If the direct entries are dominant, one speaks of a “patron website” – which barely utilises the potential of the Internet.
